The combination of tip-enhanced Raman scattering (TERS) and force-distance curves allows to correlate material property and structure of polymer nano particles. See our latest publication in Small iabout this collaborative effort between us and the Schacher group.

Our latest research on quantitative near-field plasmon evaluation in Light: Science and Application is online, showing how simultaneous detection of Stokes/Anti_Stokes signals in TERS allows the in situ assessment of plasmon and temperature parameters.

The chemical effect goes resonant – a full quantum mechanical approach on TERS. Great effort by our colleagues in Theoretical Chemistry towards full understanding of high resolution TERS data - and a nice collaboration in the frame work of the CRC/SFB 1375 NOA

Protein Handshake on the Nanoscale: How Albumin and Hemoglobin self assemble into Nanohybrid Fibers a collaboration between our colleagues from material sciences and us. The nano scale investigation of the proteins self assemble will help to design bio inspired fibers with tailored properties. press release.
